Drawn here (and are): HouMinn Practice

Blair Satterfield (Houston) and Marc Swackhamer (Minneapolis) began their collaboration as an architect in Houston, Texas, in 1998. HouMinn (pronounced human) practice, their current moniker, is an acronym of their current geographic locations and a homophone their practice based on research, collaboration with external experts in architecture is in search of work, which is more rigorous and describe created echo a wide audience. Their innovative systems based on the wall, asOSWall, an open-source platform and the wall Drape Mantle evolve exploring this primary architectural element, while projects such as the pore House, Project Home, House and feedback have addressed the issues of sustainability and accessibility. These research projects have been featured in numerous publications, including prestigious awards live and Fast Company, and earned in 2008 as R & D Award from Architect Magazine Award and Best in environments of ID Magazine.
